Ek Bharat Shresth Bharat / Kala Utsav 2026-27

Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 3, Bhubaneswar, under the aegis of KVS Regional Office Bhubaneswar, organised the Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat (EBSB) Celebration in August 2026 with the objective of promoting national integration, cultural awareness, mutual respect and the spirit of unity in diversity among students.

The programme provided students with an opportunity to explore and showcase the rich cultural heritage, traditions, folk arts, music, dance, language, food, traditional attire and lifestyle of the paired State/UT. Students actively participated in a variety of activities, including cultural performances, folk dances, songs, art and craft, poster-making, quizzes, exhibitions and presentations based on the culture and heritage of different regions of India.

The celebration encouraged students to appreciate the diversity of Indian culture and understand how different traditions, languages and customs contribute to the strength and richness of the nation. Through experiential and participatory activities, students developed greater cultural sensitivity, confidence, creativity, teamwork and a sense of national belonging.

The EBSB celebration at KV No. 3 Bhubaneswar served as a vibrant platform for students to learn about the cultural uniqueness of different parts of India while recognising the common values that bind the nation together. The programme reinforced the message of “Unity in Diversity” and contributed meaningfully towards nurturing responsible, culturally aware and nationally integrated young citizens.
